One of EGX main objectives is to educate the public to raise their investment awareness, as EGX management believes that an informed investor creates a strong stock market. This exposure reduces the probability of making uninformed investment decisions and serves to provide knowledge-based protection for investors against fraud that may be committed by intermediaries.
Serving the awareness campaign, EGX has undertaken a marketing study to understand the perceptions and concerns of retail investors about the market and the obstacles hindering its growth. Accordingly, many public awareness campaigns were tailored and implemented with the aim of raising investment public awareness of the basics of investment in Egypt to create mature investment culture.
